Josh Governale

Josh Governale has created some of the most recognizable and effective campaigns over his 19-
year career in media, marketing, public and talent relations. Before launching The Governale
Group, Josh was an executive at FOX where he marketed major network television
programming, while always elevating the brand and content — providing an elite experience for
the press, global corporate clients, and renowned talent. Josh has been entrusted by icons and
industry leaders across multiple verticals to communicate their stories, devise and implement
precision marketing plans for world-class brands.


Having worked in a 24/7 industry his entire career, Josh is not only results-driven, he's results-
proven by providing thoughtful execution with the deftness of touch. Josh is consistently
lauded for his leadership, taste, execution and cultivating elite, A-List industry relationships.


Following his formative years at FOX in Los Angeles, Josh continues to provide an authentic
approach to media and marketing, generating brand affinity and optimal results. A native of
Texas and graduate of TCU, Josh is married and the proud father of two children.






Joel Bryan

Joel Bryan is a brand specialist and strategist. Beyond his passion for graphic design, Joel has the vision to ensure that brands are consistently represented in any and every execution. While Joel has an eye for all things visual, his unwavering commitment to brand standards and strategic marketing has led to industry recognition and a rewarding career. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Joel also earned honors at the Art Institute of Dallas. He currently lives in The Woodlands, TX, with his wife, three boys, and their dog Bleu.











Afton Baily Griffin



aftonAfton is an experienced web marketing professional with a versatile background. As the owner of A Brand Strategy Consulting, she provides strong business acumen, leadership and strategy and digital expertise to The Governale Group.  Prior to our partnership, Griffin was the lead project manager for the National Charter School Resource Center with the US Department of Education at Safal Partners management consulting firm, as well as the Director of Marketing and Business Development team at luxury interior design firm Laura U, Inc. She was also the Manager of the Technology and Innovation Department at the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, handling a budget of over $1M and 24 staff. Griffin also worked with Texas Comptroller Susan Combs’ political campaign where she was the campaign director during the 2010 cycle where she spearheaded several large projects including public relations, fundraising, accounting, staff management, as well as the website and branding.


Griffin holds a degree in corporate communication from the University of Texas at Austin and is an American Academy of Project Management certified Master Project Manager. She was born and raised in Midland, TX, and currently resides in Houston, TX, with her husband, Bradley Griffin, a daughter, one cat, and two dogs. When she is not consulting, she is writing on her fashion-lifestyle blog TheWellSet.com, or traveling to new places and trying new things.




Katelyn Perkins




As a partner of The Governale Group, Katelyn Perkins provides smart social media tactics and manages public and media relations to elevate brands with strategic implementation of their marketing plans. She has worked in-house in marketing departments for larger brands, as well as agency-side for PR firms. Katelyn now works with clients in a range of industries, including entertainment, technology, beverage, real estate and retail, delivering social media strategy, day-to-da

Dylan Vigil

Dylan is a web developer & graphic designer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. A jack-of-all-trades and master of all things web, he contributes a well-rounded and versatile array of services to Governale Group, including but not limited to: web design, development, search engine optimization (SEO), client outreach, web mastery, graphic design, production, email & social media marketing. Despite being a millennial, his only definitive weakness is his inability to take a good selfie.
